Overview
RallyPoint Scorekeeper is an offline-first volleyball scorekeeping application developed and published by TNTSERVER Consulting LLC.
Data We Collect
RallyPoint Scorekeeper does not collect personal account data, payment data, or authentication credentials.
The app stores the following match data locally on the device:
- Team names and team colors
- Match scores, set history, and scoring run sequences
- Ace counts (when ace tracking is enabled)
- Service error counts (when service error tracking is enabled)
- Venue and tournament names
- App settings (theme, defaults, haptics, keep-awake)
How Data Is Stored
- Data is stored locally in SQLite on the device.
- Data is not transmitted to RallyPoint servers because the app does not include a backend service.
Data Sharing by User Action
The app provides optional user-initiated sharing and export features. These actions are only performed when the user explicitly requests them and are delivered through the device’s native share sheet or email composer.
- Text share — plain-text match summary (team names, scores, venue, tournament)
- Email export — HTML-formatted message with team names, scores, team colors, venue, tournament, and ace counts
- Scorecard image — PNG screenshot of the full match summary screen
- Social share image — PNG graphic optimized for social media containing team names, scores, winner, venue, and tournament
- CSV export — spreadsheet file with team names, scores, venue, tournament, and per-set details
- History CSV export — spreadsheet file containing multiple matches from history (team names, scores, venues, tournaments, dates)
- PDF export — formatted report with team names, scores, duration, venue, tournament, team colors, ace counts, and scoring run charts
Exported files are written to a temporary cache directory on the device and shared through the native OS share sheet. The app does not upload exports to any server.
Third-Party Services
Crash Reporting (Sentry)
In production builds, the app uses Sentry to collect anonymous crash reports and error diagnostics. These reports may include:
- Device model, OS version, and app version
- Stack traces and error messages
- Anonymous session identifiers
Sentry crash reports do not include match data, team names, scores, or any other user-entered content. Sentry processes data according to their privacy policy.
Expo and React Native
The app uses Expo and React Native runtime components. These components may process data according to their own policies when platform features are invoked.
Feedback Form Provider
The Feedback & Suggestions page on this website embeds a form hosted by Tally Forms. When you submit feedback, Tally receives the contents of your submission and any contact details you choose to include, and processes them on our behalf solely for the purpose of reviewing your feedback. No match data, scores, or in-app content is sent to the form provider unless you include it in your message. See Tally’s privacy policy for how they handle submission data.
Data Retention and Deletion
Users control local data directly in-app:
- Delete individual matches from history
- Clear all match history
- Discard an in-progress match
Uninstalling the app removes local app data according to platform behavior.
Children
The app is suitable for general audiences and does not intentionally collect personal data from children.
Security
Reasonable technical safeguards are used, including parameterized SQLite queries and local-only persistence.
